Binding my Meadowland quilt.

What a crazy time we are living in right now. On March 23, 2020, the Washington state governor issued a 2-week “Stay Home – Stay Healthy” order to slow the spread of the Coronavirus. On March 25, 2020, the Idaho state governor issued a 21-day stay-at-home order. Near the end of the 2 weeks, the Washington order was extended to May 4. Both states have now also closed K-12 schools through the end of the school year.

At the beginning of this craziness, we had already begun the process of selling a condo in Spokane, Washington and transitioning to full-time residence in Priest River, Idaho. Surprisingly, the sale is still going through, and we expect to close the sale by April 21. We are moving this week, and by the middle of next week, I will be in Priest River full-time.

With this change, I will have increased capacity for quilting services. I know several of you out there have been working on quilt tops while staying home and practicing social distancing. I am continuing to offer 30% off for the first quilt for new customers, as well as 20% off for Meadowland or Sunshowers QAL quilts. I will work with you to select the perfect quilting pattern for your quilt, and I can get your quilt quilted and returned to you very quickly… no need to wait months!

I’m looking forward to all of the beautiful quilts that will be completed when we see our country getting back to normal in the coming weeks and months!
