Computer-Guided Edge-to-Edge Quilting

Single computer-based design stitched edge-to-edge. Single thread color (top thread and bottom thread may be different colors). I have many top thread colors available. Bottom thread is available in black, dark grey, light grey, white, cream, and tan.  These are pre-wound bobbins.  If you would prefer to have the same thread top and bottom, that is also an option, but it usually requires 1-2 additional bobbins.

Quilting Cost: $0.025 per square inch ($40 minimum)

example: if your quilt is 60″ x 70″, 60 x 70 = 4200 x $0.025 = $105.00

Thread Fee: $1.00 per bobbin used

Batting: You can provide your own or you can purchase from me.

Batting

I carry several different types of batting. I typically have the following in stock, but will special order other types of batting upon request.

I have found most quilters don’t want to receive extra batting back, so I charge by the square inch.  Batting charge will be based on (quilt top length + 4 inches) x (quilt top width + 4 inches).

• 100% Cotton Deluxe by Quilter’s Dream. This is a high quality 100% cotton batting that will give your quilt a bit of weight.
  • $0.0054 per square inch 
• 80/20 Select by Quilter’s Dream. This is a high quality poly/cotton batting. It has a lighter loft and lighter weight than the cotton.
  • $0.0042 per square inch
• Hobbs 80/20. This is a high quality poly/cotton batting. It has a lighter loft and lighter weight than the cotton.
  • $0.0034 per square inch (Inventory is getting low, and this may not be re-stocked.) 

Binding Services

I offer the following services to help you finish your quilt.

• Binding Preparation: you provide the fabric, and I will cut the strips, sew them together, and press the strip in half, leaving it ready to attach to your quilt. $0.08 per linear inch (the perimeter of your quilt top).
• Machine Attach Binding: I will trim your quilt top and attach your binding to the front . $0.15 per linear inch.
• Machine Finish: I will turn the binding to the back and machine stitch-in-the-ditch along the front, catching the binding on the back approximately 1/8″ to 1/4″ from the edge of the binding. $0.15 per linear inch.
• Hand-Stitch Finish: I will hand stitch your binding to the back of the quilt, resulting in a beautiful finished quilt! $0.45 per linear inch.
