It’s time for another Quilt Block Mania block.
The theme for February 2025 is “Houses.”
It may seem silly, but the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the theme was “an outhouse!” My husband loves the outdoors, and he enjoys volunteering at fire lookouts. I’ve been to the one closest to us, and the only facilities are a rustic old outhouse down a rocky path from the fire lookout.
So, if you enjoy the outdoors, maybe you will also enjoy this cute little outhouse that reminds me of one of my husband’s favorite places. (Maybe I should have made a block with the fire lookout instead!)
This block is made with traditional piecing techniques.
